Masters champion Ding Junhui will begin the defence of his title against Ronnie O'Sullivan at Alexandra Palace in January.
Today's draw for the tournament, which moves from its long-time home at Wembley, set up the clash between Chinese potter Ding and four-time Masters champion O'Sullivan, a repeat of the 2007 final.
Ding suffered mentally in the final four years ago and lost 10-3 as the crowd sided with O'Sullivan, but he made up for that setback by beating Marco Fu to triumph at Wembley at the start of this year. - - http://www.sportinglife.com
