UEFA Champions League News: Arsenal Lack Cutting Edge against Schalke 04 - Vermaelen

THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – Thomas Vermaelen, who captained Arsenal in their 0-2 home loss to German football outfit Schalke 04 in the Champions League group stage, said that they lacked the proper playing calibre during the match.

When Schalke played past through rival Arsenal in the match, it appeared as if The Gunners have not recovered yet from their shock 1-0 away defeat against Norwich City in the Premier League. Vermaelen said that they are highly disappointed with the outcome.

Saying that they aimed to give 100% in their matches, Vermaelen noted his side’s struggles in creating ample chances. He remains optimistic with Arsenal’s qualification chances, saying that they could still qualify even with three matches left.

UEFA Champions League News: Manchester United Excels Over Braga through Chicharito Double

Watch out for more UEFA Champions League updates and place your bet at 12BET.com now!

THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – Manchester United scored a pulsating win against Portuguese outfit Braga. The English side, recovering from two early goals from striker Alan, scored through goals from Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez and Jonny Evans to end the game 3-2.

Alan played past through rival United through goals in the second and 20th minute – a feat that highlighted the English squad’s defensive problems in the absence of veterans Rio Ferdinand and Patrice Evra.

Chicharito – who appeared outshined by fellow strikers Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Danny Welbeck this season, proved that he has the calibre for Champions League football as he scored a double in the 25th and 75th minute. Jonny Evans shot through an equalizer in the 62nd minute.

The War of Champions: UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2012-13 Ajax vs Manchester City

Match Date: October 25, 2012 (Thursday)
Match Time: 2:45 am (+08:00 GMT)
Venue: Amsterdam ArenA (HOME: Ajax)

BET FOR MANCHESTER CITY @ 1.730!

Premier League champions Manchester City will visit their Eredivisie counterparts Ajax for their third UEFA Champions League Group D fixture. The match will be a highly important one for both sides, as they fill the bottom portion of arguably the most difficult group in the league – City being third with one point from a draw and a loss and Ajax being last with zero points from two losses.
Evading defeat will be the main objective of Ajax and Manchester City in the match. Both are currently unbeaten in their domestic leagues this season, although their current standings in the Champions League reflect that they are both struggling to succeed in the group stage.

City have not yet played past through rival Dutch side Ajax yet, although they fare better as favourites in the Champions League with one draw from their match against Borussia Dortmund. Confronted with a challenge to qualify this time compared to their failed bid last season, they possess a strong forward force manned by the likes of Edin Dzeko, Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero – good enough to penetrate the weak defence of Ajax that has already conceded five goals in the competition.

Beach Life | 12BET Casino

PAYLINES
Active paylines are represented by lines that appear over the reels. You can activate paylines and see their shape by progressively clicking the BET button.

Please note: You only win if a combination occurs on an active payline, and is made up of consecutive symbols starting from the leftmost reel. The Scatter symbol is an exception to that rule. Read more about the Scatter symbol below.

Please note: There is a difference between the line bet and the total bet. The line bet shows how much you're betting on a single payline. The total bet shows how much you're spending in this game round. The payouts shown in the paytable are multiplied by the coin size, not the line bet. If you get winning combinations on more than one payline, the winnings for each payline are added up.

ABOUT PAYOUTS
Payouts are listed on the Paytable screen. To find the possible win amount, multiply the coin size by the payout. If two winning combinations occur on the same line, the higher of them is paid out. If more than one active payline has a winning combination, the winnings are added up.

The Wild symbol can stand for any other (except Scatter and Bonus), to make the best possible winning combination. There is also a separate payout for several Wild symbols on an active payline.

Burnett vs Jin Long Betting 6/25 Time: 2:30PM GMT(+8:00)

The second wildcard match go with to be on a TV desk on the starting period of the Wuxi Traditional in Chinese suppliers on Mon recognizes Jamie Burnett dealing with the wildcard Jin Lengthy over the best of nine supports for a position in the competition appropriate where the champion will perform Neil Robertson. Jamie Burnett certified for this level of the competition and he will go into the go with as a 4/9 preferred with 12bet

Jamie Burnett is familiar person to big suits but he does not win a lot of suits on TV. However he can take some relaxation from being a Shanghai Experts sprinter up in previous times which indicates he can begin a period well and perform in the bulkier China circumstances. Burnett overrode the skilled Belgian Luca Brecel in the qualifiers for this occurrence as well as Marco Fu so he has already proven glimpses of type this period.

Jin Lengthy has past in these wildcard suits. He has already come through them in the Globe Start and the Chinese suppliers Start last period and in the Globe Start he even went one further and defeat Damage Junhui in the first circular of the competition appropriate so we know he has a activity title. Whether it is far enough into the period to generate it continues to be to be seen but he did have a heated up for this competition at the Oriental PTC the other day so comes in here go with sharp

Jin Lengthy defeat Sam Baird and Fergal O’Brien in the wildcard units of the Globe Start and Chinese suppliers Start last season and I would not put it previous him to put Jamie Burnett’s name in that record too. Burnett is not the most efficient on TV and these wildcard units really can be challenging for the expert who is well within his right to think having certified for the competition he should be beyond this circular. If the Jin Lengthy which defeat Damage in the Globe Start changes up here Burnett could be a seated in who is willing to be irritated and at 7/4 I’ll part with the wildcard here.

According to BBC.CO.UK, Seven-time world champion Stephen Hendry has announced his retirement from snooker after a heavy 13-2 defeat by Stephen Maguire at the Crucible.

The 43-year-old, who looked out of sorts against Maguire in a one-sided World Championship quarter-final, said he made the decision three months ago.
He said: "There's a few reasons - the schedule, the fact I'm not playing the snooker I want to play, and the fact I'm not enjoying practice.

Matthew Stevens cruised into the last 16 of the Betfred.com World Championship with a 10-3 demolition of Marco Fu. The Welshman - twice a losing finalist at the Crucible - had put himself on course for a comfortable victory after taking the opening eight frames. Fu did attempt to launch a fightback when they returned to the table on Monday evening, taking the opener thanks to a run of 65 before also coming out on top in a scrappy frame that followed. However, Stevens took two out of the next three to seal victory in an opening-round match that didn't feature a century break from either player.
